Dear Cameron MBAs,

Congratulations on the completion of Summer I, and here’s to a successful Summer II!

As you are considering all the wonderful destruction rituals you could conduct with those old textbooks, consider this:

Donating them to the MBAA will generate money that will be put back into our MBA experience - which might be a better option for you than selling them back to the bookstore.

If you don’t want to keep your books, and you’re not happy selling them back to the bookstore for peanuts, we’d like for you to donate them to us.

Our plan is to sell them at the highest return possible in order to generate cash for some of the MBAA projects we’re planning for this year, like informative guest speakers, social events (both adult and family-oriented), and the annual golf tournament.

One of our goals is to start an emergency grant fund and an anonymous application procedure for any Cameron MBA student who might need financial help during their studies.

If you can help, here’s what to do: Simply drop your books with Anne or Karen in the Graduate Programs Office (CIS building) between now and July 3.

We hope this will be an easy way to get rid of the textbooks you don’t need any more, and it will help us accomplish all the goals we’re pursuing this year.

Best regards,

Ann Berry

PS - We plan to update you during summer session II at uncwmbaa.org and via email to let you know how much you helped us raise. Thanks again.
