Social & Networking Plan for the Year

George and I have been working on a diverse plan of events for the year coming up and are trying to make decisions based on the results of the survey. (http://www.uncwmbaa.org/survey/results/2007-ideas/statistics.php)

We plan to rotate social events between class nights and non class nights, near the beach, downtown and school, weekends and weekdays, and to try and do something on a Saturday afternoon.

We think you will like the first event, even if you are not a bar person, as the MBAA has a reserved area outside, and there is great 80's band playing for free around the corner on the river after the event.

Also, the response to the survey showed that people are very interested in networking events and speakers. We are planning to have 3 before-class speakers starting this fall with topics related to business.

We are working with the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED), the Chamber of Commerce and other organizations to plan events the will compliment your MBA experience.
