Scholarship
- Early warning. We don’t have many details other than it will be awarded in January to be used for the Spring 2010 semester. It will not be full tuition, but a partial assistance. Details will be forthcoming in the next month.
Mentor program
- List of participants is on the uncwmbaa.org web site with their individual emails . . . mostly class of 2010 and one alumni from 2009. Available by email for answers to general questions regarding the program, particular professors, papers, tests . . . even used book exchange.
Web site
- Up and running but still being built for more information & flexibility. Go register for important updates.
- Are going to begin posting MBAA board meeting agendas on site so you can see what we’re doing.
- Also be sure to register UNCW MBA Association as your "friend" on FaceBook. Several current students as well as a number of alumni are already registered. Good networking opportunity.

Congratulations and welcome to the MBA program! You’ve got through the horrors of the GMAT and have been accepted into the hallowed halls of UNCW’s Cameron School of Business. Now what? Is the workload unbearable? Will there be any free time? Is it really worth it? These are all questions that your fellow classmates, and MBA-at-arms in class 2010, have asked. I am going to attempt to answer them for you and at least provide a modicum of comfort as you begin this journey. |

I am trying to construct the website as quickly as possible. Just like the majority of our class, I am pretty busy and am not finding a lot of time to make it all happen. I am hoping to hit it hard after this weekend's Growth & Profit deadline passes. My todo list looks like the following: - Customize the site's template graphics
- Tighten up the Photo Gallery and make it easier for MBAA members to submit photos to the site
- Configure the File Repository
- Configure the Forum
- Create a Student Directory
- Create a way to collect donations and membership fees
